Your nominator is a person or organisation who is willing and able to attest to your achievements. They must completing a Form 1000 – Nomination for National Innovation visa.
You must attach the completed Form 1000 to your visa application when you apply.

You don't have to tell us if you want to travel outside Australia while we process your application. To be granted this visa, you must either be in Australia or outside Australia, but not in immigration clearance, when we make a decision.

The NIV seeks established and emerging leaders with high-calibre talent and skills who can make significant contributions that will benefit Australia’s future prosperity, across a range of sectors.
